ABOUT GABRIEL

Gabriel lives in Bountiful, Utah, with his wife and three kids. He is a stay at home dad who does homeschooling. They are very active Christians with their local church.

HOW HE USED GARAGE GYM ATHLETE

He has been with Garage Gym Athlete for around 3.5 years. Before that, he had done quite a few variations of One Man One Barbell. He loves to focus on strength and his favorite lifts are cleans, front squats, and weighted pull-ups. His goal is to make sure he can keep up with his kids later in life. He strives to get 4 good workouts in each week.

RESULTS

Gabriel's bodyweight is up from 175lbs to 185 (stronger); back squat increased from 290 to 350; pull-ups from 10 kipping to 21 strict; clean 225lbs to 265; and 1.5mile run from 14:32 to 11:46.

HIS BEST ADVICE FOR GARAGE GYM ATHLETES…

Be consistent even if you’re not going to have a great workout, and you know you’re not, shoot for four days per week. A bad workout is still better than no workout. “
